North America and Beyond
Sigma Abrasives first put down roots in Houston, TX, doing business as Abrasives Manufacturing LLC. Under the direction of Patrick Ryan, the company became a valuable supplier and resource to various industries including pipe manufacturing, railcar facilities and foundries.
Our ability to deliver a quality product at a competitive price and maintain a just-in-time inventory enabled us to expand business sales outside the Texas border.

Annette Tihanovich joined the team as President of North America Operations in 2017 and began our evolution to Sigma Abrasives North America LLC. This move connects our North American locations to the Global Presence we have with the other Sigma companies and manufacturing plant, sales agents and distributors in Australia, South Africa, Europe and Asia.
While the name has changed, our commitment to excellence and quality product has not. We are proud to share in the Sigma team's tradition of providing world-class quality steel abrasives and invaluable technical services to our customers.
